It's an absolute tragedy the same sort of accident can happen again to the same company, as has been reported Vale have learnt nothing from the previous events.
I agree with @blokes it shouldn't affect drilling or exploration permits and even hopefully any deal to start production at Jambreiro as it's a DSO project which in my understanding only requires crushing & screening, so no dams.
Maybe Vale might lose some of their clout on exploration licences/leases (only hoping)
