I'd be interested to know if there are any notable reasons why one would outperform the other over the medium to long term? At quick glance, they have very similar holdings (top 10). Assuming any dividends/distributions are reinvested, the holdings remain reasonably comparable, management/performance fees are the same (I think). Are there any structural reasons why one has an advantage over the other with regards to 'total return'? Disclosure: I hold MGG, I don't hold MGE.
