It's going to be a simple fact that "business as usual" will have the desired effect of ending life on this planet in all reality by 2100. By 2050 with business as usual we will be more than halfway there....
By not legislating that all buildings, especially commercial buildings, not be at least 30 or 40% self sufficient for power by 2040 is sticking your head in the sand and ignoring the facts that are already in publication.
Unless everything possible is done to promote alternative power generation, minimization of carbon in the atmosphere etc etc we are digging ours and our childrens graves
Population and associated power consumption increases in the next 15 years alone will demand smarter power generation and power sharing in communities
A technology like Clearvue is not just simply a nice to have, it's a necessity that will one day very soon be mandatory in some form.
Clearvue don't need to generate power and use it onsite for any purpose whatsoever if they don't want.
All they need to do is generate power and sell it to whoever they like.
If they find the building itself needs some of the power...great, if not sell it to the consumer down the street through IoT or sell it back into the grid.
What if a glass skin was built straight over the existing structure with self contained cabling without the need to touch the existing building. Similar to a glass scaffold.
One of Clearvue's initial MOU's was with a IoT software provider to show potential clients the value of generating 100 times more power from the skin of buildings
than from the roof, that in most cases is already choked with plant.
Business as usual is not working.
We are greatly increasing the amount of carbon in the atmosphere and unless this is reduced is dramatic fashion within decades the story will write itself as is proving to be true in real time now.
