Whils looking at al these technical abilities of engaging grid scale VRFB systems, the obvious conclusion is that they are good investment decisions .
And so while we might be looking at individual companies and their  profitability because of this, another important aspect I feel is the broader energy sovereignty it enables.
Russia/Ukraine, Russia/ Europe,China/U.S, Saudi Arabia/ U.S etc and on smaller scale Pacific Island Nations etc , are all examples where lack of energy sovereignty compromrises economic and political sovereignty. Ie if you can’t produce all the energy you need to run yr nation you have to buy it off others.
And some use this as a carrot/stick when they feel like it. 
As well, not forgetting the loss/gain of political prestige of complying to agreed UN carbon emissions targets.
