  Good salesmen are still the key to the successful and rapid expansion of this business.They need quality people in a hurry.

(A) When a company is considering paying $100k plus  p/a in most cases  they will expect a sales presentation in their office before they sign on the dotted line.The ability to trial before they buy is a great sales tool along with proof of concept   trials. Given that 3DP have a stated  800 plus immediate target  of customers in the US market that is an enormous and impossible number of potential clients to cover with one salesman.Thats what the very minimal  cash raising  was for. When the new staff arrive we can expect a quicker flow through of new contracts

(B) All holders got excited when we did a deal with Autodesk, but what does it really mean..To date  probably very litte unless Pointerra have made huge efforts to ensure that the autodesk, sales, marketing people are trained  and confident in the value of the Pointerra product as an adjunct to their  own product.
Has anyone had a good look at the site to see how much autodesk is cross promoting Pointerras product.... Perhaps we should.
When training is complete expect to see an enormous change.. Autodesk apparently  has 10m users and we can assume many are smaller businesses. Lets assume we can get a disappointing ,  half a percent of these users to sign up on a k mart rate of $50 dollars per month thats 50,000 people who could sign up on line without the need for sales  staff contact for  $30m per annum minimum fees.Lets dream . Then we have scale.
I admire this companies approach to keeping costs down but not to the detriment of sales . As Ian stated at the AGM we lost a year of sales progress in the US last year and we need to move forward quickly to remedy that situation. Looking forward to 2019 DYOR.
