You are lucky (and wise) in not owning shares in PPL.

I'm assuming you probably work in the Market Research industry, or have in the past.

For 2019, I would be diversifying, and including a defensive or two, like a health care stock with earnings offshore, and a couple of gold miners, and maybe a cannabis stock, and maybe a 5G stock. And perhaps a software technology stock (Blockchain or AI). And maybe Lithium will bounce back. So much to research eh, and it takes time.

There is a lot of dross on the ASX, which is why I have significant investments on the TSX.

It's difficult to pick stocks on the ASX, because the market is so manipulated, and corrupt. We need to be overly patient at times. It's a mugs game really, but it's addictive.
