"Director Zhang Lihai of Shandong Rare Earth Association revealed that after the completion of the integration, Zibo Baogang Ganoderma Co., Ltd. plans to invest about 2.05 billion yuan to build a new 22,250 tons/year rare earth oxide smelting separation project and a 10,000 tons/year rare earth polishing material project. The project adopts the most advanced cascade-assisted extraction and separation process in the world and the newly developed automatic control technology of Zhejiang University in the rare earth industry, reaching the level of the most advanced rare earth extraction and separation technology in China. Zibo Ganoderma Chemical will build a new 14250 ton/year chlorinated rare earth project and construct two production lines to process Baotou and US rare earth concentrates respectively. The production process adopts the most advanced green acid-base joint production process in China. After the completion of the construction of the new plant, it will make full use of the resources of the park, increase the research and development of rare earth new products, and develop high-end products such as rare earth polishing liquid and rare earth rubber additives."

Lower OpEx, "green", vertically integrated downstream, all for US$300M, no one in their right mind would finance an outback dinosaur beyond concentrate feed now.
