In addition to Patagonian toothfish, the article mentions Blockchain technology being used in the beef industry.

There was something in the CT1 AGM presentation about this...

"CCP’s smart tags have recently been deployed to feed data into a blockchain tounderpin smart contracts associated with air shipments of beef to SE Asia. This trial isexpected to lead to commercial deployment of the Blockchain."

I'd say its pretty good to be demonstrating IoT/Blockchain applications right now.

I don't think this is about a "sexy UI", I think it is more about supply chain leaders embracing new technology.

Usually there's quite a lag between new tech trials/pilots and large-scale business uptake.

For example, Walmart announced its new blockchain-enabled food traceability initiative:

I notice Walmart say they piloted new technology for 18 months!

And a big tech giant (IBM) is Walmart's implementation partner - not a microcap startup.

Walmart suppliers are forced to use it. Now that's the way to drive uptake!

CT1's investor deck and AGM presentation reveals opportunities being progressed with global IT/Telco players.

That's probably a good thing.

Partnering will be important for CT1.

While holders might get frustrated with partnership announcements, I think well-connected partners and sponsors are needed if this business is going to skyrocket. CT1 just needs the right connections to get greater traction IMHO.
