Converting the options is very simple, you can email the company for the form (the form is very simple), fill it out and email a copy back & pay the conversion amount into the bank account listed.

I'd think the company would be best to answer any specific queries, especially with your situation being overseas. I assume there won't be any issues (other than probably needing to pay in AUD which may be a hassle). I think contacting the company would be best and they should be able to help clarify.
