News: TABLE-S.Korea's Dec coal imports down 5.7 pct y/y

SEOUL, Jan 15 (Reuters) - South Korea's coal imports dropped 5.7 percent to 10.4 million tonnes in December from a year earlier, customs data showed on Tuesday.

Total coal imports are composed of steam coal for power generation and coking coal for steel production.
