    thanks for your reply @Lownganong

There are several problems with what you are suggesting IMO.

I don't think it's hard at all to argue that the bid should be increased as a major milestone, the funding, has now been secured.

Secondly, I don't see how this plan works? Are we supposed to trust these guys, ie after we vote them to the board they are mysteriously going to table a new offer from RRL that the current board don't know about? and where does that leave Hawke's Point? How do they force Hawke's point to agree to a deal? Sorry I just don't understand the plan.

Also going by the apparent track record of these guys why would we want to sell RRL the project and leave CMM a shell, when currently CMM own 100% of the project and have funding to develop. Have a read of that comment about how much they paid themselves with that other similar situation. I also seriously doubt that RRL are in a position to pay cash at the moment, well not enough caash to statisfy me and maintain a health balance sheet.

Your explanation of the plan isn't making much sense to me on a number of levels.

If RRL are still interested they should man-up and put a real offer on the table, not send a stalking horse, if that is even the real intention behind this move. I'm not convinced that these guys are real stalking horses for RRL If they were the market might have responded positively to this move.

The last thing I want to do is trust these guys if their actual plan is to go knocking on RRL's door soliciting a new offer after they are voted in, if they are actually not stalking horses, but more like opportunists wanting a bigger slice of the pie than their shareholdings actually justify.
