I had a psychic girlfriend once, she broke up with me before we met!
I don't care if it's good or bad anymore, I just want to know what's going on, delays/suspensions are not fun and just give more fuel to all the naysayers/downrampers etc.
It also looks unprofessional to not be able to resolve it in the timeframe stated. It may not be the case but it appears that way and that isn't good for our confidences.
