US earnings will show whether the current bounce is justified or whether we will likely head down to lower lows, my thinking is of the latter...

If earnings do meet/beat expectations, then I'm doubtful that their forward guidances will be very positive given what is happening to the rest of the world's economies.

In any event, Gold/Gold producers should continue to do well as we further head into this part of the cycle.
