Ever heard of Rego? So if they add a 200% tax on recharging stations energy, big deal, it will still be only $3 to go 500 klm instead of the current $50! and very little co2 which is the main aim. Hell lets make it $20 so the govt don't lose excise. With the money saved we could all afford to take on a 15% GST as well, which is essential, but not until we get a govt with kahunas to do it.
