Anyone who knows anything about salars and brine knows you don’t go exploring for fresh water at 301 meters.

Salars are sedimentary (ie they form horizontal layers). Think of it like a pancake stack. The maple syrup spreads outwards rather than penetrating down. So fresh water deposits stay near the surface and spread outwards, rather than going down.

The Lithium One studies commented on this, and our geophysics confirmed it. High conductivity brine zone at depth.

My opinion - everyone is trying to play down Candelas because they’d like to pick up some land cheap. Galaxy have stated they want to expand their resource at SDV - I reckon they’ll try and buy us out. So it’s in their interest to say things like ‘fresh water exploration’.
