Ironically the great play ground for trading paper gold, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, started accepting gold as good collateral in 2009 with a haircut of 15%. You can use real gold to get 20x leverage on paper gold at CME, go figure, as the Yanks would say. Well technically it's not really "you" it's the banksters that are allowed to play in the play ground.
