I have the reasons.  Chris wanted to simply take a break and let someone else run the company.   He clarified his expertise is in geology and science.  After he has had some time out from work he will likely return to geo/science consultancy.   A more academic path.

Thankfully nothing too serious or sad but a normal life time for a change move...  

He seemed very postive on Copper Blow and its progress.

So it is now a grear opportunity SCI to appoint a super focused corporate minded CEO to drive Copper Blow towards a good outcome.   Make a good appointment.
