NOT founded by Gina et al., what would give you guys that idea? Welder's post on ARV seems like conspiracy rubbish. Why drag KZR into it I don't know.
The Snakewell tenements (in the Murchison) came as surplus from Atlas in 2013 after they did a T/O of Girillia Resources back in 2007 mostly for their (Girillia's) Fe tenements. Snakewell was drilled out to JORC back in 2000/2001 and then put on the back burner as they focused on Fe. KZR took the top off from the Mixy deposit and has recently sold them.
Why keep the base metal royalties and not gold? My guess is there might have been a legacy royalty on Au to Atlas and the new buyers weren't willing to give up anymore royalties.
Who knows what Castlemaine will bring, but given the relative lack of depth drilling done (400m+) compared to where the other major gold fields are at in Victoria (1,200m+) and the large previous production (5.6m Oz's) bodes well for a punt. Not a bad free peg.
