A takeover of any public company cannot ever be ruled out. A takeover can be instigated by the company as is the speculation with 4DS.IMO their management will not be seeking a TO at this early stage. They will want the share price to rise many bags higher to satisfy Dorrian.
The tech needs to be in production and the share price higher. Not higher on froth and bubbles artificially created on speculation but on its true value.
If say WBT was being eyed by a hostile bid that bidder will want the price as low as possible before declaring their hand.
Always keep an open mind never rule out a bid.
