Not uncommon in the industry ... see MGX.
The sad reality I think is that it's a cultural issue ... no point in giving cash back to owners because maybe, just maybe, IO premiums might fall and so losses will follow. Imagine the loss of face if you give dividends and then to support low prices, you needed to raise cash?
An alternate strategy might be if the price falls below profitability, why not put GRR on hold? Of course, under this scenario, there are few winners especially the major holder who will until we're all long gone, enjoy a free call option for premium IO pellets.
Still hoping for a 2c half year dividend but that's the sum total ... hope!
