For an underground gold mine RSG use of fully autonomous vehicles is pretty cutting edge. BHP/Rio/FMG have had fully automated vehicles for some time in WA but iron ore mines, but that’s l a lot different to operating underground.
My understanding is that tele-remote loading is still pretty standard in the industry. That not really automation but just remote control. I know one of the large long life underground mines in Australia has a plan to roll full fibre optic out to facilitate future automation.
It also depends on the mining method whether full automation is achievable (block-caving makes it easier). Northparkes was one of the first and a few YouTube videos were posted about that when Syama automation was announced.
