It looks as if Eastern Guruma stayed on at Western Turner Syncline when Brierty won the $300 million contract for Stage 2 in around May 2014.. http://briertycomau.ds.dashdigi.com/our-experience/mining/western-turner-syncline-stage-2.html
It was supposed to run until December 2018 but in June 2017 Rio “suspended Brierty’s contract because of safety concerns, giving the contractor two week to respond to a default notice.”

As Pioupiou said there are considerable advantages to using a meticulous operator - even if the price is higher to begin with.
