Hi froggy
What people up north don't realize is that the much maligned cane toad is de-lish (legs only). In my youth I spend 4 years living in Cape York (FNQ) and dispatched many a toad that was steeling the my dogs diner. Call me Homer Simpson, but I started to like my lips at the sight of those big juicy legs. In the end I figured said legs were nowhere near the poison glands and the (skinned) meat was worth a try, so try I did, fried in garlic butter. From that day on I became a convert and consumed many thousand cane toad legs. Absolutely de-lish. I've often wondered why they are not harvested for human consumption, given European demand for frogs legs.
