You forget we had had our issues with corruption e.g. Queensland Police Force, NSW Police Force and other Police Forces in parts of the western world. And let's not forget corruption in politics at Federal and State levels resulting in the highest officer (Premier) in one state going to jail. Corruption is not unique to the Solomon Islands but as you are witnessing there are checks and balances in place and with it comes a severe warning.
Good on the SI Government in its effort to eliminate corruption and congratulations to the SI Sun for excellent journalism.
D.Marashare from DNS & Partners Law Firm has finally got back to me yesterday regarding my inquiry, so it's no longer consider unsubstantiated but I won't post their response here, you can contact them if you want and given I am not even a holder, they still confirm it to for me.
