Just putting it out there and hope I'm wrong.
Not sure you'd make big announcement when Singapore is closed, otherwise ASX holders get unfair advantage so I was wondering if it could even be later in the day?
As well as that thought, there's nothing stopping them putting it out after market closed either.
"The Company requests the voluntary suspension remains in place until the Company makes an announcement to the market, which it expects at this stage to make no later than Friday, 4 January 2019."
Friday, 4 January is still that (Friday the 4th) at market close.
Maybe we get the news then, digest over weekend and open late Monday when both exchanges are open?
I could be completely wrong, just a thought.
I thought I remembered reading that the suspension would lift at beginning of trade Friday 4th.
But I looked just now, I remembered wrong.
Turns out the suspension doesn't have an ASX imposed end-date, instead just a comment from the company saying "expects to make no later than"...
This could mean we don't get an announcement today, and there's no guarantee for Monday either.
