Yes, certainly some scaremongering coming out of media around all types of investment let alone property.
Thing is, property is a great long term investment so ST noise can be taken advantage of as you say.
One thing for sure, something is being priced in to the point where when it happens, prices may well be oversold and whatever event it may be will be in the rear view mirror. IMO.
