It would be a wonderful world indeed if companies of all shapes & size were to treat all share holders large or small exactly the same. But in reality it does not happen. Companies regularly private brief the largest of holders, stockbrokers, bankers, & analysts. Often with a level of detail that retail holders rarely see. It may not be kosher. But happens all the time & is near impossible to police.
If your happy to be continually promised something which never materialises then good luck to you.
