As far as your first paragraph is concerned, yes, if posters have not read the 'offending' posts. you are right. That would be totally unacceptable. With respect to those Tedhunter and Grimcon posts, though, I doubt that was the case because there had been considerable discussion and time elapse before I 'jumped down anyone's throats'.
