Hello KKLL
Might the percentage reduction be because more than 57 million shares got added in 2018 and diluted the register ?
I just wondered - the weight of numbers too mind boggling for me to approach any closer than they had 30 ‘oranges’ and added 6 but lost 1.1%
Annual report GCY Share Register Page 60
CBA December change in substantial holder GCY notice
Beyond this , your post made me curious so I looked up the timing of those CBA big trades.
Credit raise on August 28 - CBA bought more than 3.8 million shares.
-Huge gold hit at Tanqueray ( btw second round drilling now done; results expected January - fingers crossed ) September 19, 2018
CBA buys one million shares .More than six million traded . Price 31.5 to 36 cents.
-Significant Director Appointments: October 8, 2018 (CBA didn’t react?)
- Annual Report (etc) October 25, 2018
There were 36 million shares traded on 29 October after the trading halt for Annual report plus Dunbar and Murray resignations
Price dropped from 22c to 10c. I presume CBA buying 3.6 million was close to the bottom?
Then looks like they sold close to 4.2 million on 31 October - ( a bit of two day trading? ) - price that day 12.5c to 14c
BANK LOANS :
I don’t know what the bank’s average price is but I think it is higher than current
It must also strongly want the project to succeed .
as well as owning shares it has a $30 million loan with Gascoyne since December 2017 https://www.australianmining.com.au...dalgaranga-gold-project-60-million-bank-loan/ (NAB the other $30 million)
So ThIS loan is the Project Finance Facility of the Christmas Eve GCY Announcement that needs first $1.6 million repayment in December and NOT the new loan with NRW?
...
CBA and NAB will provide loans of $30 million each to Gascoyne for its $300 million contract project with contractor NRW Holdings ( $86 million in operating costs), which is expected to begin gold production in the second quarter of 2018.”....
.....
...“The four-and-a-half year floan will begin in mid-December 2017, with an averaged hedged gold price of $1710 per ounce.”
Here’s that announcement :

Thanks again KKLL
