Hold on, nothing to see here?! Not you personally Kingsley but let’s take a look here.
We currently have one member who is providing what is very close to sensitive information from the Greenland government. (Good intentions or not).
We also have the company announcing that after x many years and x million dollars with support (at a premium) from global experts that the EIA and SIA have been issued and public hearings shortly after the translations are submitted. This was a MAJOR milestone. The EIA was submitted to the Greenland government on the 3rd of September (well announced to market that date). After 3 years in the waiting any translation should well and truly be a mere formality for final adjustments. But we waited and then when the quarterly was released (in November) we found out it was due end October (after the fact).
Any change to those FACTS, be it additional survey work, calculations, externalalities or what ever needed should be announced to the market and the shareholders informed. Must we truly believe now it’s genuinely been over 3 months for a translation? Seriously??
The ASX won’t just question a company’s proceedings if it is easily linked to normal market fluctuations. And yes the market has been greatly volatile in recent weeks but that’s not why the question was asked by the ASX to GGG.
We all (I included) hope it’s a simple delay tactic to get some minor information collected to finalize EIA/SIA, but given the ASX questioning, who would have been informed by larger entities than us retail / wanna be interested, I’m eager to see where this goes in the coming weeks given the very poor SP performance (beyond sharemarket volatility).
