If the directors are selling back into the buyback then they must submit a change in directors notice to the ASX.
Normally this might take a couple of days or so. So far not change in directors notice have been submitted and disclosed to the market.
That suggest they are not selling down their holdings.
What I think is happening is normal shareholders are selling due to the market volatility.
Below is a screen shot of the ASX 200 YTD its down 9%. It was 6200 at the end of August. Now its 5493. The market has experienced a nasty sell off. Hopefully things settle down in the new year.
