Yes that is one (a nasty one) possibly a very misunderstood credit-line IMHO. I do feel you should own what you say here so I will give a little clarity. Leverage as I meant it was really anything external talking for you and your money, could be far worse than a margin loan btw and often is, imagine money borrowed from a trusted friend or loved one. The markets are absolutely unforgiving and hard enough without the added emotional burden moving you way off your managed comfort zones. The free liquid market will always test for weakness, those external voices have great potential to talk loudest at just the wrong moment.

I have over the years seen many very sad events due to the simple weakness of a holding position, in large part caused by leverage of one form or another. I don't want to come across as some down on the markets fuddy-duddy, I love the markets and how they work.
