Mal could you give me a bit of a heads up on who you think may be plotting the buy out. I have just done a tally up on the Director's holdings and collectively (including their options) they would hold approx 11.5% of the stock. I have had a look at the top twenty holders listed in the annual report and can't identify anyone in there who may be a threat and the Group of Likeminded Investors held something like 16%/17% when they disbanded. Based on current trading volumes and share price I am wondering how someone would accumulate enough of a holding to force the issue.
Hi
@redant, Whilst we are all off topic and speculating, I couldn't resist a reply to your last post reiterating comments that I made earlier in the year.
I started a post with "Food for thought", and went on to ask what happened to the LMIG.
So to repeat my thoughts, are we supposed to imagine that this group disbanded and simply disappeared..... or is it a possibility that they grew to a point that they wanted to hide their size and strength and therefore "officially" disbanded to avoid disclosing their accumulation.
What if they have been steadily accumulating from their original 16%-17%, maybe even grown in numbers, .... what if they have links in the top 20 or even management.....
The reality is that they could well hold 50%+ .
I am sure they didn't all suddenly sell their holdings, and some are still showing their presence on the forum at various times.
AIMO but definitely a possibility!
