Under a 2004 agreement Ukraine and Russian vessels have the right toenter the Sea of Azov but must notify the other party before passing through the Kerch Strait. Ukraine chose to ignore this during its deliberate last provocation. They had orders to enter Russian territorial waters and ignore warnings. They got what they wanted, an incident which was broadcast to ignorant Western populations. Poroshenko's CIA installed clique, the Ukranian army and his Neo-nazi militias are in for a hiding if they push Russia too far. I hope they do.
