Oh, another thing I forgot to mention was when I asked about whether the rig was still there and how long it would take to get one for the next well.
Messina said that decommissioning was very cheap, about $40,000 which was small change compared to overall costs.
And the rigs depo is only 20 kms away. The rigs are fully automated with no roustabouts and come in large parts that are bolted together. They turn up one day and are drilling the next day which is what happened in the Rex case.

I love this efficiency.
