You have to remember the Mining License was a different ball game back when SYR started the process. Environmental stuff was no where near as difficult as it is now. SYR gained a mining License from memory but the Moz govt made big changes to their laws. This was then held up with elections. Moz depts were on hold for a long period of time and not giving out Licenses. Syr then had to have many meetings with officials to clarify the new rulings and then re apply. This process took time. They did a good job but that’s one of the reasons it took so long.
It would be good to have an estimate of how long it’s going to take though. At least we’re one step closer.
