Hi Kates9999. I just reckon you must have a big printout of the chart for VLA stuck up on the wall and chuckle every time you look at it and read the IMU HC chatter . Went back and took a look at the VLA HC chatter and price graph (still there for everyone to read) and noted that Dec 16 price was around $1.22 and over the next 12 months on pretty thin trading went down to $0.64. By Feb 18 it had bounced on around 52.3 mil trades up to $0.87 and finally to March on lesser trades taken out at $1.75.
Sure no 2 scenarios are the same however it is a real lesson in what goes on behind closed doors and shows how fast the game can all change. Interesting to note it was really only the long term holders who reaped the real upside on VLA - suspect many came in at around the $0.80-1.00 mark and left again around the $1.50-60 (still nice return of course).
