If the $550-a-head cocktail party with Morrison and 18 of his most senior ministers at the InterContinental last night wasn’t exclusive enough, there was always the invite-only dinner.
We hear the asking price might have been $7500 per plate setting, giving punters a chance to get close not only to Morrison but also Treasurer Josh Frydenberg and Wentworth Liberal candidate Dave Sharma.
But of most interest was the host of the event: Alvin Blumenthal’s EverBlu Capital.
The former BBY man and his sons Darrin and Adam have had a colourful few years, backing highly successful marijuana outfit Creso Pharma before being accused by the ASX of practically hijacking micro-cap social media software company Manalto.

Who knows what will be the topic of discussion around the dinner table?
