The important thing at this point is to get gas flowing.  The rate doesn't matter.  The economics don't matter.  The politics matter, and having a producing onshore shale gas well changes political dynamics quite a bit for us.  It will make it easier to frack the next well.  When Cuadrilla has proven that gas will flow from the Bowland, and they explain, based on actual data, how much they believe is recoverable, it's a different conversation.  When they've done it without the sky turning black, people dying from cancer, babies being born prematurely, buildings falling down, and tap water catching fire, then not only does Cuadrilla look good, but you know who looks bad (FoE, Greenpeas, and Frack Free Fruitcakes).  So when Cuadrilla says that they can get at more gas if the restrictive TLS system is loosened, and the "sky is falling" anti-frack mafia protests, guess who wins?  The side that tells the truth.
