Here's a good article on how this might play out. In terms of DHL's response, they can join the CSO pool but they would need to meet the CSO distribution standards. If they do, they cannot sign any new exclusive distribution agreements. If they don't, and choose just to maintain their current exclusive agreements with manufacturers, they will only be valid until 30 June 2020 at which point they will expire.
I'm hoping becoming a CSO might be a bridge too far.
