The 2017 DFS said we needed A$853m pre production capex. This deal would ostensibly would provide A$850m !
Bit of caution required though, as per the announcement, the costs need to be confirmed again and there may be other costs that need to be covered etc. In particular, the capex may be higher given the Germans will be building it.
Anyway, undeniably a great step forward and PB and board must feel vindicated.
