The minimum contractual grades for this ore are 1.4% nickel and 0.15% cobalt, however the expectation of QPM is that actual ore purchased will be in line with historical export grades, being 1.55-1.65% nickel and 0.17-0.18% cobalt
At those grades quite comfortably the highest grade laterite play on the asx which will drive profitability through high margins. Shipping is a very small fraction of the cost of the extra value from the higher grades.Do the numbers.
