I've looked into these companies. CV Sciences looks like it could be a gigantic winner (considering the low market cap) after the Farm Bill removes hemp from the Federal Controlled Substances List. Its fundamentals are similar to Charlotte's Webb, but CV Sciences' market cap is less than half of Charlotte Webb's. Also, CV Sciences is the only CBD company in the world to achieve FDA GRAS self-affirmation status; this really separates them from the pack. Once CBD is federally legal, it will expand to everyday supermarkets, and their CEO said that they are preparing for a massive upscaling after the Farm Bill of 2018 passes. The US hemp CBD industry is estimated to grow from $800 million this year to $22 billion USD by 2022 according to Brightfield Analytics whom factored in Hemp Legalization into their forecasts. We're looking at a potential mega industry, and CV Sciences looks the most prepared to me to deal with the explosion of growth post Farm Bill.
