Worth noting that ASIC actually nominated BDO to be the Independent Expert - not T2. General compulsory acquisition involves ASIC specifying which parties are able to undertake the role rather than the bidder just choosing whoever they want.This whole situation has effectively gone through a court process already via the Takeovers Panel who reviewed the situation and allowed the bid to progress.
