Amanda has done well and been paid well for it. As with men in similar situations - her business biography doesn’t highlight her failing but her successes. McPhersons wasn’t great but almost everything else is impressive. It is true that she was in the right place at the right time but she still put in the effort and took on the challenge so nothing wrong with shareholders acknowledging that.
