i'm kinda agreeing with @nammuldi on the 'marketing' of these drill results, here is my calculation of the 'discovery intercept' when the high grade section is removed. leaving in all other +1g/t hits the overall grade is 197m @ 0.47g/t - not even gruyere is making money at that level.
having said that, i would be extremely excited if one of my projects returned 45m @ 3.3g/t and i would be running hard to delineate the extent of that mineralisation. given that in all sections published the best intercepts are pretty consistent at 100m +/- 20m, why drill 300m deep holes going forward? perhaps this is a supergene effect and there could be a great orebody delineated cheaply and easily by targeting that?
