Either way it looks like we are away and will be mining as per timelines.
Any equity is definetly a free kick for the banksters but as others have said it’s the cost of doing business and getting projects like this funded. If the company gets taken over before the mine gets built it’s a free kick plus a 50m penalty on top as the banksters will be helping themselves to both sides of the transaction in my opinion. Hopefully we don’t see a take over here and WAF is allowed to grow into a fully fledged African mining company, in which case the equity component allows for faster debt pay back and provides us with a little risk protection against the build not working out exactly to plan.
Not many explorer/developers on ASX attracting funding deals at the moment, particularly in African jurisdictions. Says a lot for the quality of our project.Esh
