There is a big difference between Resmed and Virotec - Resmed has products that work! Virotec are still peeing into ponds. Trying to make the association!! - shame on you!

Meerkat - the competitor has always been there and they have the bigger US market share of sleep Apnea products. Whereas, Resmed are rated number are 1 in all other markets (apparantly) and no. 2 in ther US.

Wetblanket - Granted that FPH are a competitor however, Resmed seems to have the edge with their distribution chain, marketing and their product.

Wouldn't it be a safer bet that RMD is being affect like all the other high PE companies in the market place, especially in Biotech. In the case of RMD, it's exacerbated by the increasing value of the AUS$ to the US$ and having 48% of their income derived from the USA impacting on the thinking of the bear market.

I don't hold any RMD however, they are on the watchlist with several other Biotechs.
