Agree that gold price will bounce back from $850. Mon claims to have a cost per oz. of $650-$700. Assuming this occurs (fat prophet crystal ball summary 23/4/08) this leaves a margin of $100- $200 per oz. minimum.
As a rule cost per oz would include all production costs and overheads and exclude company debt. Hence a concern that fellow posters are calculating production costs of $2000+ seems simplistic.
Looking 12 months out M.K should have quite a good little earner in his stable once Mon moves from this consolidation phase . I notice that there has been one sell off with another in the process . I expect this is to streamline the company and restore some capital for production.
