It’s about this time of the year that they will announce profit guidance. That will be interesting and I would like to compare any other fund manager guidance with AEF. Just hoping that inflows will counteract the decline in the market. No sound of fee reductions or new staff, so that’s a bonus.

I’m holding this stock for at least another 5-10 years, unless I see something nasty about to surface, I hope to ride the 30%+ growth for those years. The recent 40-50% growth will moderate, but would still be happy 20% growth in sp.

Shouldn’t be that hard for this company to announce $15M profits in 5 years(growing eps at 25% p.a.). That should support a sp of around $500 at a 3% yield. No doubt the share split will make that $5.

So, yes it would be nice to know why the support in price when the index is down over 10%. Maybe it is some of the reasons I have mentioned, but would love to see a surprise factor thrown in.
